Whether you’re here for encouragement, entertainment,
or a cozy little treat for your heart, this is your gathering place.
Each issue is a little celebration for your heart:
a smile when you see the cover, a twinkle of joy with every page,
and a gentle hug that reminds you faith, grace, giggles, and
sisterhood carry us through every season.
What began as a sweet offering from my heart
has blossomed into something far more meaningful.
Thank you for being part of this vision as it continues to bloom
— your presence makes this sisterhood shine brighter every day. ✨
If life were a collection of teacups, most of us would probably
reach for the same one every day (you know the one ☺️).
But what if there are other flavors waiting
—ones that are sweeter, bolder, or just a little more fun?
May your cup be full, your heart be light,
and your next sip extra delightful.

☀️ How Are You Steeped? - Gal Fun
A playful tea-inspired personality feature
Here’s a sweet little nudge: it’s okay to try them.
Steeped In
Sweetness
There’s Always
Another Cup To Savor
Ever feel like you're sipping the same ol’ cup
of tea every day?
You don’t have to commit to one flavor forever.
You don’t have to keep sipping something that
no longer feels like you. Life offers a variety of
flavors—new seasons, fresh opportunities, and
unexpected ways to find joy. The goodness
you’ve been craving isn’t gone… it might just be
waiting in a different cup.
You know the one—it used to be your cozy go-to,
but now it’s more ‘meh’ than marvelous. But
instead of switching things up, you tell yourself,
“Maybe it just needs another taste.” So you take
another sip. And another. And before you know it,
you’ve settled for a cup you’re not really enjoying
as much as you used to.
We’ve all been there, and sometimes, it’s not
even about tea. It’s that routine, that mindset,
that plan you once loved. Something that used to
feel exciting but now feels a little flat. Still, you
stick with it. Why? Because it’s familiar. Because
it’s safe. Because trying something new means
stepping into the unknown… like Alice
wandering into Wonderland.
But what if the ‘meh’ isn’t the cup… it’s that
you’ve been sipping the same one for too long?
Take a look around. There are more cups on the
table to explore—different shapes, different
blends, different aromas just waiting to be
discovered. Some are bold and energizing. Some
are soft and comforting. And some are ready to
surprise you in the most delightful ways.
“Taste and see that the Lord is good…”
— Psalm 34:8
Trying a new cup doesn’t mean you’re throwing
out the old. It simply means you’re open—open to
discovering what else could add a touch of
freshness, a sprinkle of joy, and a burst of life back
into your day . . . or even reignite a forgotten dream.
And much like tea, not every cup needs to be
rushed. Some need time to steep, allowing their
flavor to deepen slowly. While some may not
taste as expected, they may pleasantly surprise
you with a second sip.
So if your current cup feels a bit blah, it’s not the
end of your story. Maybe it’s your cue to explore a
new blend, pour something different, and take a
sip of something you haven’t tasted before.
Because a life steeped in sweetness isn’t about
holding onto one cup forever… it’s about
discovering the delightful variety that awaits
you. — there’s always another cup to savor.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of
power, love, and a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
To me, it’s never felt like bravery—it’s felt like
excitement, curiosity, and that little spark that
says, “Oh, I have a great idea… this is going to be
fun!” And if it doesn’t work out? Well… it’s kind of
like keeping a special teacup tucked away for
‘someday’, only for someday to never quite
arrive. (We’ve all done that, haven’t we?) x
Somewhere along the way, we were taught that
fear is the dream-crusher—whether that’s
writing a book, starting a business, or learning
something new. But, it’s often not fear… it’s the
worry about what other people will think.
Because let’s be real—people have opinions, and
sometimes that noise can cloud the SONshine in
our dreams.
I can’t imagine reaching the end of my story and
saying, “what if?” I’d much rather tell the stories
of the things I tried, the paths I explored, and the
ideas I brought to life—whether they worked out
perfectly or not. No ‘what ifs,’ just an abundance
of ‘why nots.’
Want to write a book? Write it.
Want to start something new? Start it.
Want to learn, create, explore? Go for it.
I’ve been told more than once
that I’m ‘brave’ . . .
usually when I’m trying something new, starting
a fresh project, or stepping into the unknown.
And every time I hear it, I can’t help but smile,
feeling a little surprised and a little warmed by it.
If I’m honest, I never really saw myself that way…
but the more I think about it, the more I realize—
it’s actually a really lovely way to look at things.
But here’s what I know for sure: you can’t live a
life you love while filtering it through other
people’s opinions. Quiet the noise and listen to
what’s been placed on your heart. This is your
story, don’t leave out the colorful chapters just
because you’re worried how they’ll be received.
Those God-given ideas, gifts, and talents weren’t
placed in you by accident—they’re meant to be
used, explored, and shared. And that worry
about what others think? You can let that go.
And suprisingly, it’s not always the people
closest to us cheering us on. Often it’s the kind
stranger, the quiet supporter, or someone
you’ve never even met who says, “I love what
you’re doing—keep going.”
Because one day, someone might look at you
and say, “You’re so brave.”
And you’ll smile and think… I just had the
courage to reach for a new cup, take that first
sip, and see what it held—knowing there’s
always another cup waiting to be savored.
I’m cheering you on, every ‘steep’ of the way.

A charming and
heartwarming Bible verse
tailored for gals
... infused with a
touch of joy
Like a beautifully steeped cup, this kind of goodness
doesn’t rush—it unfolds slowly, much like tea leaves
unfurling and releasing their gentle aroma. It’s a life
filled with a quiet, steady peace that only He can
bring her… warm, comforting, and just right.
She begins to notice His handiwork in the little
things—a sweet moment here, a quiet blessing there
—and it fills her heart with a soft joy that lingers.
It’s the kind of fullness that doesn’t come from what
she has, but from how she lives… open, grateful, and
ready to savor each new day.
And somewhere between the first sip and the last,
she realizes—her cup was never meant to run dry…
it was always meant to overflow.

In still moments of prayer and reflection,
her spirit gently steeps in His presence,
giving thanks for all His goodness—her cup overflowing with His grace.
In moments when her cup feels empty or unsatisfying,
she returns to stillness—allowing His presence to gently refill her spirit,
leading her to a new flavor to savor.
In what quiet moments have you recently savored His presence bringing
you peace?
What are a few simple ‘sips’ in your life right now that you can pause
and give thanks for?
When your cup feels full, what brings you that sense of overflow
—and when it doesn’t, what might be quietly getting in the way?
her reflection - psalm 23:5
Dear Lord,
Thank You for the many ways You fill my life with goodness,
even in the smallest moments. Help me to slow down, be still,
and recognize the blessings You place before me each day.
When my cup feels empty, gently lead me back to Your peace
and guide me toward new paths filled with hope and joy.
Amen.

Sometimes the loveliest treats don’t
need to be made from scratch—just a
little touch of whimsical creativity and
a sprinkle of sweetness.
Start with freshly baked Kirkland
Signature Raspberry-Filled Cookies from
Costco. Oh so soft, thick, and perfectly
pillowy, with a sweet raspberry center that
tastes more like a little shortbread cookie.
They’re already delightful on their own,
but with a simple glow-up, they become
something truly special for any occasion.
Add a few white pearl sprinkles and a tiny
butterfly for that extra whimsical touch,
and just like that… you have a treat that
feels straight out of a garden tea party.
Arrange them on a pretty platter, pour a
cup of tea, and add a small scripture note
to complete the moment.
. Tip: No Costco nearby?
Freshly baked cookies from your local
bakery work beautifully too—or, for the
bakers, make your own favorite recipe
from scratch.
. Beautifully divine, effortlessly created,
and perfect for enjoyment in no time.

The cookies can be soft fresh from the
bakery. Handle carefully while adding the
buttercream. Refrigerate for a short time
to harden slightly. This will help prevent
the cookie crumbling if they are too warm.
Swirl the buttercream from the inside out
slowly. You can go thicker or thinner based
on the piping tip and look you want.
Candy pearls and edible butterflies
(available thru Amazon in a variety of styles
and sizes or try local craft store).
These are not stackable cookies :)
You can make these in advance and
refrigerate them for or a day or two.
Seal them in a container for freshness.
Before serving: Leave them out to reach
room temperature for a softer pillowy
frosting and cookie. Enjoy!
